Instructions for
Viewing, Downloading or Printing Images/Files:
VIEWING FILES:
Click on a FOLDER ICON above. A
PASSWORD window will appear. Use the
username and password you received by email, and click OK. Your
company's folder will appear
here in the preview window. Click on the folder with your
business name to preview the contents of your folder
(Customer's using the Client
Portals will have to enter your company's username and password at this
time). Clicking any of
the files in your folder once with your mouse will allow you to view them
in this window. To save these images or print them follow the following
steps:
TO SAVE IMAGES TO YOUR COMPUTER: Either
right click on the image filename you wish to save and choose "Save
Target As" in the pop-up menu that appears, to save the
file to your hard-drive, or left-click the image filename, and then
right-click your mouse on/over the image that appears in the preview
window and choose "Save Picture As" in
the pop-up menu that appears.
TO PRINT IMAGES: Left-click the image
filename you wish to print, and then right-click your mouse on/over the
image that appears in the preview
window and choose "Print Picture" in
the pop-up menu that appears. (NOTE: you may
have to print the images using the LANDSCAPE feature on your printer, as
the images are often wider than a standard 8.5" x 11" sheet of paper).
COMMON QUESTIONS / PROBLEMS:
USERNAME AND PASSWORD ACCESS PROBLEM:
If you are having problems accessing your files
use this checklist to troubleshoot the problem, and if you still cannot
access the files please use the CONTACT FORM on the "Contact Us" page or
give us a call, and we'll be glad to help you.
1) The username and password are CASE SENSITIVE, meaning that there can be
no UPPERCASE letters or spaces in them. Make sure that your CAPS LOCK key
is not on, and retype the username and password with no spaces.
2) If you are sure that you are typing in the username and password
correctly, but you still can't get in, you may be using an outdated
username and password. We routinely change them for security reasons, so
please contact your salesman by phone and ask to be sent the current login
information.
3) In some rare cases, depending upon what type of computer, operating
system, or programs you use, the login function just refuses to work. This
appears
to be an end-user software glitch that is beyond our power to remedy, but we will be
more than happy to email you your drawing as attachments.
MISSING
FILES PROBLEM:
If you are able to login to your
salesman's folder ok, but are unable to see your folder or files within
it, the following checklist may help you.
1) Hit the refresh/reload button (or F5 on your keyboard) to reload the
folder. Computers are notoriously lazy. If you computer has been to an
online location before, it won't often check to see if anything has been
updated since the last time it visited. You have to force you computer to
double check for updated files. This is the function of the refresh/reload
button.
2) Your files may in fact be gone. Files and folders are routinely removed after
being on the site for a week or two
(to save on server space
and bandwidth), if for some
reason your files are no longer visible, please call your salesman or send us a message using
the
CONTACT FORM
on the "Contact Us" page, and we'll re-post them
ASAP.
